Sub Science - Eye Of The Sorm (Sub Science Remix)

from ODYBRK002-Broken Circuitry Vol. 2 by Cloaking Device, Sub Science

/

about

Eye Of The Storm was initially produced in 2007, and in revisiting the stems there was plenty to work with. A relentless syncopated synth stab forms the backbone of this track with wailing electro sounds and glitchy samples punctuating the filtered breaks as they gradually build through the intro. As the track drops it’s huge wobbling sub-line, the groove beds down solidly with its weighty drum work. Gradually as new elements unveil themselves, the track yields more musically focussed moments eventually breaking down into gorgeous airy pads. The ominous falling bass sound however has clear intention towards a second drop where the track dubs out for a final stretch of hefty drum & bass. Sub Science once again bringing the weight!
