about

Corridor 12 is inspired by the futuristic anti-gravity racing tracks of the Playstation® Wipeout Series, Corridor 12 is a turbo-charged tornado of breakbeats and percussive impacts. Although slightly reminiscent of the early Teebee releases or Modus-era Photek, this has a definite style of it’s own- a purposeful focus on clanging metallic sounds and sweeping jet engines that build a powerful mental image of the white-knuckle chicanes of the Wipeout racetracks. The bass-line constantly switches between deep punching stabs and speaker-quaking subs. A moment of relative softness as a gorgeous pad suggests a brief chance to enjoy the breathtaking vista of an off-world city is short-lived before the listener is slingshotted back into the vortex of drums and Bass.
